Summary of Specifications:
The Lake Orion Downtown Development Authority has engaged the community in planning a Trail Connection and Wayfinding Project through downtown Lake Orion. Plans have been developed to extend the Paint Creek Trail from where it currently ends at Atwater Street in the Village of Lake Orion to Elizabeth Street / M24. Work has been completed that includes identifying the best route, design of signage, and placement of amenities. It is the intention of the Lake Orion DDA to solicit funding from the Transportation Alternatives Program from either MDOT, or SEMCOG or a combination of both.
