Oakland County operates and maintains well water supply systems in Highland Township, Lyon Township, Oakland Township and Oxford Township. Oakland County also maintains water systems for Bavarian Softwater in Springfield Township. Oakland County is accepting proposals for a contractor to perform necessary maintenance and rehabilitation of existing wells, pumps, motors and appurtenances. Work may include evaluation of the existing wells and pumps, prioritization of maintenance, failure analysis, and recommendations for rehabilitation of existing wells, equipment replacement, and installation of new wells. Work will be done at the direction of the Water Resources Commissioner’s Office. Services shall be provided on an as-needed basis and only at the request and direction of authorized County staff.
