Description

The Suburban Mobility Authority for Regional Transportation (SMART) is seeking a qualified firm to complete van inspection services. The van inspection services are required to comply with the Federal Transit Administration’s Post Delivery Review encompassing the Buy America Certification requirements and the Purchasers Requirement Certification covering specification compliance and resident inspector’s reports. SMART has awarded a contract to Mobility Trans located at 42000 Koppernick A3 Canton, MI 48187 for the purchase of Forty-nine (49) modified Ford Transit vans. The vans are scheduled to begin production August 2019. SMART is seeking the services of a resident inspector to both perform the necessary on site inspection services and to complete documentation required per FTA requirements for these vans.

The price shall be a firm fixed price and shall include all labor and materials, travel and related expenses, and any and all other incidentals or necessities to perform the work under this contract.
