Sealed bids will be received at the Livonia City Hall, 33000 Civic Center Drive, Livonia, Michigan 48154 until 2:00 P.M., Eastern Daylight Time, on January 8, 2019, at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Each bid shall be recorded together with the name of the bidder. Bids shall be in accordance with the requirements of this notice in order to be deemed “responsive.” Late bids will be returned unopened.
Bids must be submitted on forms furnished by the Purchasing Manager of the City of Livonia. Instructions to Bidders and Specifications for items required may be obtained

To guarantee his fulfillment of the foregoing covenants, the bidder attaches hereto his certified check or proposal bond in the sum of $____________________(5% of proposal) and agrees that same shall be forfeited to the City of Livonia in the event of his failure to execute the contract or furnish acceptable bonds, not as a penalty but as actual liquidated damages
