Dated: June 4, 2018: The City of Rochester Hills is accepting sealed proposals from qualified firms to furnish/provide all equipment, materials, and labor to restore the entrance to the cemetery including brick column and the damaged custom fabricated aluminum gate at Van Hoosen Cemetery. See attached pictures on Attachment A.
Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills, at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309, or submitted online through the MITN website by Tuesday, June 26, 2018 until EXACTLY 3:00 p.m. local time, at which time and place Proposers names will be publicly read aloud.
In order for Contractors to become familiar with the scope of work specified, the condition of the work, obtain measurements, and the work to be performed according to the contract and specifications, they are encouraged to visit the site. The site is open to the public and available for Vendors to visit daily from the hours of 8:00 a.m. to Dusk. It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to determine and provide all materials required and incorporate all such items into their cost proposal.
All correspondence or inquiries from interested firms regarding this proposal shall be directed to the attention of Keri Bright, CPPB, Purchasing Analyst, City of Rochester Hills, Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan 48309; telephone 248.841.2538; fax: 248.608.2538; email: brightk@rochesterhills.org. All inquiries shall be made in writing by Friday, June 15, 2018 before 11:30 a.m., in order that a written response in the form of an addendum can be processed before the proposals are due. Inquiries received after that date will not be considered.
Only the person designed above is authorized to seek additional information from prospective firms regarding their proposal. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to firms regarding their proposals from other persons are to be directed to the employee designated above for appropriate review and response.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes proposal documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of proposal documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain proposal documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, enter site, click on City Services, click on Purchasing, click on Vendor Registration, and click on the word “register” to link to the MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award.
The submission of a proposal shall be considered evidence that the proposer is satisfied with respect to the conditions encountered, and the character, quantity and quality of the work to be performed. All submitted prices shall remain in effect for at least ninety (90) days from the date of the opening.
