The Oakland Township Parks & Recreation Commission is currently accepting bids for the 2019 Mowing Services for the following properties:

Bear Creek Nature Park and playground - 740 West Snell Rd.
Blue Heron Environmental Area - 3320 Rochester Rd.
Charles Ilsley Park – 1479 East Predmore Rd.
Cranberry Lake Farm and Historic District – 388 West Predmore Rd.
Cranberry Lake Park Predmore Rd. parking and trails – 388 West Predmore Rd.
Cranberry Lake Park Romeo Rd. Parking Lot – 551 West Romeo Rd.
Draper Twin Lake Park user parking lot and dock – 1015 Inwood Rd.
Draper Twin Lake Park garage and trails – 1181 Inwood Rd.
Gallagher Creek Park and playground – 2780 Silverbell Rd.
Lost Lake Nature Park – 846 Lost Lake Trail.
Marsh View Park East Parking Lot and Archery Range – 3100 East Clarkston Rd.
Marsh View Park Athletic Fields – 3100 East Clarkston Rd.
Marsh View Park West Parking lot – 3340 East Clarkston Rd.
Mill Race Trail – 4400 Orion Rd.
Stony Creek Ravine Nature Park – 1280 Knob Creek Dr.
Watershed Ridge Park and woodchip pickup area– 1720 West Buell Rd.
And the 5 mile long Oakland Township section of the Paint Creek Trail – Dutton Rd. to Kern Rd.

All parks are located within Oakland Township.

Mailed bids will only be accepted if received at the Charter Township of Oakland before the due date. Please allow enough time for mail delivery.
A current insurance certificate MUST be included with your bid in order to be considered. See insurance requirements listed in this document.

A maximum of (1) Bid Document will be available to each Contractor at no cost at the Township Clerk’s Office on or after February 15th 2019. A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 26th, at 11:00am at the Paint Creek Cider Mill, First Floor Meeting Room, 4480 Orion Road, Rochester, Michigan, 48306. The pre-bid meeting will last approximately 1 hour. Contractors must sign in at this meeting in order for their bid to be accepted and opened on the bid date.
Mowing work within the Oakland Township Parks is detailed and will require an understanding of many large and small areas to be maintained. Please read and understand this entire document before making a bid.
