The City of Romulus Recreation Department is requesting formal quotes from experienced and licensed contractors for the commercial seal coating of the walking path of the Boise Park Walkway located at 6017 Columbus, Romulus. Responding contractors must provide proof of licenses if requested by the City following the submission of a quote and prior to the issuing of a purchase order by the City for the work.
Based upon their expertise, contractors shall provide square foot pricing for the work. Pricing shall include all related costs including but not limited to; insurance costs, equipment staging, equipment costs, labor and materials for the seal coating of approximately 56,000 square foot of asphalt walkway. Product to be used should be SealMaster Polymer-Modified MasterSeal (PMM), Product No. S1097 or a department approved alternate.
The awarded Contractor agrees to furnish any and all equipment, staging, labor, materials and supervision required for the completion of the work. Furthermore, the Contractor agrees to complete at his own expense (and to the satisfaction of the City’s appointed representative) the restoration and or replacement of any damaged landscape, sod, terrain, play equipment or park signage damaged by the Contractor or his equipment or work crew during the performance of the work.
