2019-12 - Police In-Car and Body Cameras

Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cadillac (“the City”) is seeking bids for the purchase of six (6) wearable body cameras for police officers, and the purchase and installation of 360-degree view digital camera systems on six (6) frontline police patrol vehicles. Bid includes cameras and charging stations, a digital file management and storage system for the associated audio/video (‘a/v’) files, installation services, training and maintenance and related services, that will allow for the capture and preservation of interactions between police officers and the public.

Detailed specifications are included with the bid packet as Appendix A (Body Cameras) and Appendix B (In-Car Camera Systems). Any deviations from required specifications must be clearly explained in an attachment to the bidding document. Specifications are not intended to exclude any particular manufacturer.
