The City of Rochester Hills is accepting quotations from qualified and experienced firms to perform Crack Sealing and Striping services for various City parking lots as specified in the quotation response form. If applicable, all handicap areas must be done in accordance with the City’s ordinance. The City reserves the right to split or abstract any or all quotations and award multiple contracts for the same quotation, based on price, availability and service when, in its judgment, best serves the City of Rochester Hills; therefore, it is not necessary that you provide pricing for every item.

Only the person designated above is authorized to seek additional information from prospective firms regarding their Quote. Correspondence or inquires made directly to firms regarding their Quote from other persons are to be directed to the employee designated above for appropriate review and response.
The Contractor shall be responsible for all area measurements of the parking lots and walkways in order to determine the linear feet and cost for their crack sealing portion of the solicitation. Because the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) is a secure facility, Contractor’s will only be allowed to view the parking lot for measurements at the pre-proposal meeting. A voluntary pre-proposal meeting will be held on July 31, 2018 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the OCSO located at 750 Barclay Circle, Rochester Hills, MI 48307. This will be the only opportunity to view the secure parking lot and take measurements.

All questions regarding the quotation must be in writing prior to Wednesday, August 1, 2018 @ 11:30 a.m., at which time a response will be prepared and forwarded to all vendors as an amendment, or an addendum to the quotation, if such information would be of significance to uninformed vendors. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered. Vendors are specifically directed to not contact other City staff; unauthorized contact of any City Department employee may result in rejection of submittal. It shall be the proposer’s responsibility to make inquiry as to changes or addenda issued. All such changes or addenda shall become a part of the contract and all proposers shall be bound by such changes or addenda. Addendums will be posted on the MITN system.
Vendors are encouraged to visit the sites prior to the deadline for questions and to attend the site visit at OCSO since it is the only opportunity to have access in the secured area behind the Sherriff’s office.
