Description

Computer Room Backplane communications Upgrade
SMART is looking to upgrade network communications in its computer room to 10GPS. This upgrade is necessary to support the objectives of the Authority. There are four parts to this project;

Network switches and necessary hardware
Management software for network switches
Network consulting services for software and hardware installations and configuration
Annual support and software maintenance.

The goal of this project is to have one type of network switch for the computer room that operates at 40GPS at the core and 10GB at the cabinet.
