Description

The City of Midland Water Distribution Department is soliciting for prices on equipment rental and operators, to be used for emergency repair as needed through April 30, 2021. There will be no obligation to have equipment or personnel on standby and the City will call in order of "best price" first and continue down the list until needed service is available. Contractor may bid on any or all services. Due to the nature of the emergency repair services, contractors within a 25 mile radius of Midland, MI, will be primarily considered.

In response to COVID 19, the bid submission process has been temporarily adjusted from physical bid submission to an emailed only process. Bid response forms will be due by 1:00 pm on June 2, 2020 and should be submitted by email only to purchasing@midland-mi.org as an attachment. Email subject line should read “BID 4097 – EMERGENCY REPAIR SERVICES FOR WATER DISTRIBUTION”. Hard copy bids will not be accepted. After email submission bidder will receive a confirmation email indicating receipt of the submission. Bid attachments will not be opened until 2:00 pm on Tuesday June 2, 2020 via a phone conference call (989) 837- 5750 pin 8851 to meet public opening requirement. Attendance to the call is not a requirement of the bid but is offered if bidders want to listen to the opening.
