The City of Rochester Hills is accepting Sealed Bids for the purchase and installation of equipment for an HPE SimpliVity Upgrade through the MITN website until EXACTLY 3:00 p.m., EST, Monday, May 20, 2019, at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read aloud a the City of Rochester Hills, Purchasing Division/Fiscal Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes bid documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of bid documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain proposal documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, select City Government, Departments, Purchasing, Bid Opportunities and Vendor Registration to link to the MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award.

OVERVIEW
The City is accepting bids for purchase and installation of equipment for an HPE SimpliVity Upgrade for the Management Information Systems (MIS) Department. Complete bid specifications and product requirements are provided and identified in the Pricing Table section.
Bid unit costs are to include all associated costs including shipping FOB destination. No additional charges will be allowed. The City of Rochester Hills reserves the right to split or abstract any or all bid proposals and award multiple contracts from the same bid when in its judgment it best serves the City of Rochester Hills.
*NOTE: Any partner choosing to utilize their own services for any part of the installation process must have expertise with HPE Simplivity, VMware, Aruba Switches and HPE Proliant Servers and options.
