RFP-RH-19-027 - Development and Construction of Auburn Road Corridor Gateway Features & Emmons

Dated Wednesday, May 1, 2019: The City of Rochester Hills is accepting proposals from experienced and qualified firms experienced in design, construction and maintenance of public gateway features including plaza space, storage and restroom facility, splash pad area, and installation of artistic items for installation along the Auburn Road Corridor. Alternate proposals and solutions to successfully complete this project can be proposed and are encouraged to be submitted by vendors. Sealed proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills at the Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, MI 48309 until EXACTLY 3:00:00 P.M. Local Time, Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at which time the names ONLY of submitting proposers will be read.
A non-mandatory, informational meeting will be conducted on Monday, May 6th, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall, City Hall Auditorium (lower level) 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, Rochester Hills, Michigan, 48309. Attendance at this meeting is not mandatory, however it is strongly recommended that interested proposers attend. Information regarding the approach to this project will be provided and questions will be answered at that time. The purpose of this meeting is to provide interested firms with a chance to ask questions regarding the project and provide any background information which may be beneficial in preparing a submittal.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes proposal documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of bid documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. Only those vendors who obtain bid documents from either the Purchasing Division or the MITN System are guaranteed access to receive addendum information, if such information is issued. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, select Government, Departments, Purchasing and Vendor Registration to link to the MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award.
Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the proposal amount. Proposal security shall be a bond provided by a surety company acceptable to the City, which is authorized to do business in the State of Michigan and shall be delivered to the City with the sealed proposal.
THE CITY OF ROCHESTER HILLS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT ANY AND ALL PROPOSALS.
Any deviation from the specifications must be noted on the proposal.
