RFP-RH-18-053 - Carhartt® Cold Weather Outerwear

The City is accepting proposals for Carhartt® brand outerwear only. The City requires proposing companies to have sufficient stock of required outerwear available at all times.  Non-oversized garments must be shipped and received by the City within two weeks of the order date.  If order will take longer than two weeks to receive, the Vendor will be required to provide notice to the ordering department and provide a lead time on the order placed. The City also requires the proposing company to provide, in a reasonable timeframe, oversized garments.   
 
The City has roughly ninety persons that are eligible for outerwear.  Replacements are done on an “as needed” basis, with no scheduled replacement policy and is subject to the availability of funding and budgetary considerations. The City purchases an estimated 20 – 25 outerwear items annually. This information is to be used only as a guide in the proposal process and should not be considered a guarantee to purchase minimum quantities or restrict the purchase of materials in quantities that exceed the approximated maximum estimates.  The proposal form contains general items that are used as a basis for the overall evaluation. The blanket purchase order will include, but will not be limited to the items listed herein.
