Scope of Work.
The City of Taylor is soliciting bids for CDBG footing drains and sump pump. This is a Federally Funded construction
project and is subject to compliance with all applicable Federal Labor Standards, but is exempt from Davis Bacon Act.
A performance bond in the amount of 100% of the bid amount shall be required upon execution of the contract and
prior to beginning work.

Footing Drainage and Sump Pump Installation
· Remove existing concrete floor by saw cutting and install approximately 100’ of 4” drain tile around
the interior of the Michigan Basement
· 4” drain tile shall be ran to a sump pump pit
· Fill floor opening with pea stone and repair remove concrete.
· Install sump pump with a battery backup. Sump pump shall be installed in a location with the pump
discharge a min. 15 ft from the house so the water discharge runs away from the house.
· Quote to include all necessary Materials, Insurance, Labor, Taxes, Permits & Dump Fees
