The City of Rochester Hills is soliciting for sealed proposals from qualified proposers to provide bathroom partitions for two bathroom facilities at the City’s Bloomer Park. The City is also soliciting for additional proposals to provide demolition of existing partitions and installation of proposed partitions. Proposals will be received by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division, 1000 Rochester Hills Drive, (Lower Level) Rochester Hills, MI 48309, or submitted online through the MITN website, until EXACTLY 3:00 p.m. Local Time, July 31, 2018, at which time and place names of proposers will be publically read aloud.
A voluntary site visit will be held on Monday, July 16, 2018 @ 9:30 a.m. (local time) at Bloomer Park located at 95 John R. Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307 to become familiar with the premises specified, to measure all areas, to become familiar with the work to be performed according to the specifications and to provide a forum for questions/answers. Contractor is responsible for all measurements when preparing his/her quotation. Questions are to be directed to Keri J. Bright, CPPB, Procurement Analyst, brightk@rochesterhills.org in writing no later than Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at which time a response will be prepared and posted on MITN as an addendum to the proposal, if such information would be of significance to uninformed proposers. Questions received after the date and time above will not be considered.
To avoid any park entrance fees, please inform the park employee at the entrance gate that you are there to attend the pre-proposal site visit. Visits outside of the scheduled pre-proposal meeting would be at the vendor’s expense.
The City of Rochester Hills officially distributes bid/proposal documents from the Purchasing Division or through the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network (MITN). Copies of proposal documents obtained from any other source are not considered official copies. The first step to do business with the City is to become a registered vendor by visiting the City website at www.rochesterhills.org, select Business, Purchasing/Bids, then Quick Links and Vendor Registration to link to the MITN website. Final proposal results will be posted on the MITN website after award.
Please note if you are submitting proposal through the MITN website, the City of Rochester Hills is capable of accepting documents in .docx, .pdf, .jpg, .tif or rtf formats. Due to security risks associated with some file formats, the following file types are not able to be opened by the City: DOC, DOCM, DOT, XLS, XLSM, XLSB, XLT, PPT, PPTM, RTF. All of these formats can contain malicious code. The City is also not able to open ZIP files at this time. Alternatively you could convert these files to PDF.
Any deviation from the specifications must be noted on the bid. Failure to complete every space on the specification form may disqualify bid.
