Description

SMART is looking to award a contract to remove from (Retired Buses) Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) hardware and on-board Vehicle Surveillance System (bus video) and install the equipment removed from retired buses onto new buses, and the installation of Fare Box Pedestals, for 40 new Gillig buses beginning November 2018. SMART will order another 40 new Gillig buses that will also require the removal and installation of Automatic Vehicle Location system (AVL) hardware and on-board Vehicle Surveillance System Equipment (bus video) beginning early March 2019.

Note: If the proposer has not previously installed or removed an AVL system, please provide proof of similar work experience.
