Bay County has been running the same AS400 system for over 12 years. With IBM Version 6.1 expiring, the County needs to purchase an on premise solution to support the needs of District, Circuit, and Probate Courts. There is no longer a need to have two redundant systems as the systems on the IBM system will not require 24/7 access. The software utilizing this server, Judicial Management Systems (JMS) and Judicial Information Systems (JIS), require an IBM AS400 system and as such only bids for an IBM server will be accepted by the County.
