ITB-CN-055 - 2020 Pavement Markings

Placement of road pavement markings and stencils in various quantities as outlined in the attached Pavement Marking Bid Items Form. Vendors are asked to provide a bid for waterborne pavement marking material on the form provided. Vendors are also asked to provide an alternate bid for polyurea pavement marking material, and a second alternate bid for 701 sprayable thermoplastic. Work must be complete in accordance with MDOT specifications Section 811 and 920, including application during temperatures appropriate for the drying of applied material. The vendor is responsible for, and must be experienced in traffic control. The vendor shall be responsible for the protection of “wet” applied material and shall not remove protections until the material is fully adhered and will not stick to or spray vehicles as they pass through the material. City Council is expected to award the bid on March 9, 2020. The work shall be completed between July 1 – July 31, 2020.
