The project as a whole consists of improvements to the City's wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) and generally includes demolition of the existing headworks equipment, tertiary filtration equipment, and related structures. New work includes headworks building, open channel grinder, mechanical fine screen, grit concentrator, grit washer and classifier, hydraulic gates, parshall flume, submersible pumps, tertiary disc filtration, mechanical mixers, force mains, valves, gravity sewers, concrete manhole structures and sidewalks, painting, precast concrete planking, precast insulated wall panels, aluminum handrail, FRP doors, FRP grating systems, miscellaneous metals, HVAC, plumbing, HMA paving, electrical, instrumentation and control, site restoration, and all related work. The following contracts will be awarded separately or together in any combination: Site Work and Excavation; Concrete and Masonry; General Trades; Painting; Mechanical; Electrical, Controls and Instrumentation.
