RFP - 3917 - 2017 Fiber Optic Network Cabling

The City of Midland is requesting bids for building approximately 1500’ of ¼" messenger strand on the City of Midland owned poles at 18’ contact height. Bore approximately 375’ of 1.25" HDPE duct from the pole to pole to connect City of Midland poles on opposite sides of the landfill drive in the center of the aerial route. Bore approximately 150’ of 1.25" of HDPE duct from each of the end riser poles to each of the City of Midland’s two buildings. Dual lash and pull through HDPE ducts approximately 2500’ of 12 strand armored SMF 28 OSP fiber cable into both buildings leaving at least a 35’ service cable adjacent to the termination points. Place 1-12 port SC style fiber patch panel at each location and terminate all 12. Bi-directional ATDR test all 12 fibers. Supply 3 sets of electronic as build packages showing fiber cable footages, locations, and OTDR test results.
