The District is accepting Bids for network electronic equipment specifications. The bid must also include any necessary mounting hardware and software licenses. This service is for the time period from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020.
LAN/WAN SWITCH SPECIFICATIONS
Oakland Schools, Clawson Public Schools, Farmington Public Schools, Ferndale Schools, Holly Area Schools, Lake Orion, Novi Community School District, School District of the City of Pontiac, Royal Oak Schools, Southfield Public Schools and West Bloomfield School District are seeking proposals from vendors qualified and experienced in providing and implementing enterprise/campus wireless and wired networks.
As part of the E-Rate Program, an upgrade to the wired and wireless network infrastructure in eleven (11) Oakland County districts is planned. It should be expected that this will occur in two phases of installations beginning summer of 2019 completed by September 2019 and upgrades in summer of 2020 after funding commitment decision letters are received for work to be done the summer of 2020.
