004152 - Woody Debris Removal

WRC maintains open channel drains throughout Oakland County. Drains are often 2-4 feet deep with water but can vary based on season and condition. Many drains traverse land that is heavily wooded and not regularly maintained by property owners. As a result, the open channel drains get clogged by woody debris (branches, stems, logs, downed trees). The purpose of this work is to remove woody debris that are within the channel cross section, from top-of-bank to top-of-bank and to a height from the bottom of the channel to a height up to 15 feet above the top of bank.
