Background
The 23rd District Court, located in the City of Taylor, is connected to and utilizes many City systems.
The City of Taylor uses VMware, Microsoft virtual desktops, Microsoft Office 2016, Gmail and AS400. The Court also uses Judicial Information Systems (JIS) case management system, courtroom digital recording with DCR software through BIS Digital Inc., DMC technology, and credit card systems for window payments.
The Court has two Judges, one magistrate, three departments and a full security staff totaling 42 employees. Access to programs are through 40 Dell Thin Clients. Printing is completed through 10 multifunction machines, 16 office machines, and 2 Dot Matrix Printers.
Each responding firm will bear all expenses associated with preparing, providing, and presenting their response to this RFP. Consultants must treat all 23rd District Court information (documents, verbal, and electronic) as confidential and will be required to sign a confidentiality or nondisclosure agreement. Each consultant will be required sign and submit an city of Taylor security policy – user acknowledgment form before they may be given access to the company’s network.
