Sealed proposals for the construction of the Medville Drive Water Main Replacement project will be received by the City Clerk for the City of Sterling Heights, until 2:30 p.m., Local Time on Tuesday, June 18, 2019, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read.
The project includes replacement of the existing 8” water main from 16 ½ Mile Road to Smethwick Road with pipe bursting construction as shown in the plans and specifications. The hydrants, gate valve & wells, water services and water service boxes will also be included in the project construction.
A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the City of Sterling Heights, Macomb County, Michigan, in amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory performance, labor and material, and maintenance and guarantee bonds.
