Notice to contractors:
Sealed proposals will be received by the finance department (City Hall, room 301) of the City of Royal
Oak, Michigan, up to 10:30 a.m., local time, Wednesday February 13, 2019, at which time all
proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud, in Royal Oak City Hall room 309, for the “2019 Water Main Improvements Contract
CAP1910.” The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidental items,
including but not limited to the following major items of work:
- Removal of composite and concrete pavement
- Concrete paving with integral curb
- Concrete driveway/sidewalk construction
- Drainage structures and piping
- 8-inch and 12-inch ductile iron water main installation
- Restoration
Project Schedule is April 15 - September 27, 2019
System would not allow entering any percentage over 100% under Bonding Requirements. Bonding Requirements are as follows below:
Bid Bond - 5%
Maintenance Bond - 125%
Labor and Materials Bond - 125%
