The City of Rochester Hills is seeking written quotations from qualified vendors to provide Two (2) Trailer Mounted, Self Contained Portable Light Towers for use by the City’s Department of Public Services.
Unit prices are requested, FOB Destination City of Rochester Hills, Department of Public Services, 511 E. Auburn Road, Rochester Hills, MI 48307 and shall include all charges that may be imposed in fulfilling the terms of the contract.

Only those person(s) designated above are authorized to seek additional information from prospective vendors regarding their quotes. Correspondence or inquiries made directly to vendors regarding their quote proposals from all other persons are to be directed to those City employee(s) designated above for appropriate review and response. All inquiries shall be made on or before Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 12:00 noon EST, in order that a written response in the form of an addendum can be processed before the quotes are due. Inquires received after that date and time will not be considered.
Please note if you are submitting proposal through the MITN website, the City of Rochester Hills is capable of accepting documents in .docx, .pdf, .jpg, .tif or rtf formats. Due to security risks associated with some file formats, the following file types are not able to be opened by the City: DOC, DOCM, DOT, XLS, XLSM, XLSB, XLT, PPT, PPTM, RTF. All of these formats can contain malicious code. The City is also not able to open ZIP files at this time. Alternatively, you could convert these files to PDF.
As this quotation is being made available by electronic means, the vendor accepts full responsibility to ensure that no changes are made to the quotation documents. In the event of conflict between a version of the quotation submitted by vendor and the version maintained by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division, the version maintained by the City of Rochester Hills Purchasing Division shall govern.
This specification describes Two (2) Trailer Mounted, Self Contained Portable Light Towers - Product Reference Generac MLT3060M or City approved equal. It is the City’s intent to purchase this equipment for use by the Department of Public Services.
Unless otherwise stated by the vendor, the quotes will be considered as being in strict accordance with the City’s applicable standard specifications, and any special specifications as outlined in the quote document. Reference to particular trade names, manufacturers, or model numbers are made for descriptive purposes to guide the vendor in interpreting the requirements of the City, and should not be construed as excluding quotes on other trade names, manufacturers, or model numbers unless otherwise stated. However, the vendor, if awarded the contract, will be required to furnish the particular item referred to in the specifications or description unless departure or substitution is clearly noted and described in the quote. The City is the sole judge in determining equals. Vendor may be required to provide demonstration of product being quoted.
Vendors are cautioned to read the specifications carefully, as there may be special requirements not commonly offered by the equipment manufacturer. Vendors are cautioned that any units delivered to the F.O.B. point which do not meet the specifications in every aspect, will not be accepted.
