Build Leaf Box for 11’ Dump Body including the following:
 
Maximum installed height of leaf box is 11’ 0”
Structural frame to be 2” x 2” x 3/16” tubing, all on the outside of the box.
Twelve (12) gauge sheet metal on inside of tubular frame with 1” of weld every 6” on outside of tubing.
¼” 4.27# expanded metal raised screen mounted ½” from top of box, 3 equal sections.
Leaf box to be secured at front and rear of dump box (no straps) pins preferred.
Ladder (steps) to be mounted on box, continuing up from existing dump box ladder.
Grab handle on top of box, (can exceed finished height of 11’ by 6” max)
Removable shelf storing tailgate built with 2” x 3” x ¼” tube for top and bottom of the frame.
Rectangular center frame opening measuring 31-1/2” high x 43-3/4 wide in tailgate.
Measurement above center frame opening 13-1/4” and 20-1/2” below opening.
Width between tailgate bracing to be 18-1/2”, 44” and 18-1/2” (L-R)
2” x ¼” frame with 24 equally spaced 3/8” holes centered (horizontally)
Tailgate must be hinged at the top.
Center of vertical opening shall be 72” measured from the center of installed Pintle hitch to the opening.
Mount two (2) pieces of 10” x 3” x 36” tubing on inside roof of box 40” to enable removal with fork truck.
 
Paint:  Leaf box sand-blasted, primer inside and outside and painted orange on the outside only
