Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cadillac is inviting bids for the rehabilitation/reconstruction of nineteen (19) sanitary sewer manholes to begin after July 1, 2018.Work to be completed prior to September 1, 2018. The successful Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials as specified to install a product as specified in the City of Cadillac Section VII.F.8 Sanitary Manhole Rehab-Manhole Coatings Corrosion to form a uniform, lining wall to nineteen (19) existing sanitary sewer manholes. This lining shall restore the structural integrity of the manholes and provide protection against corrosion.
MANDATORY – An on-site inspection of each manhole to be rehabilitated is a requirement. Field measurements and work necessary for each structure shall be made during the field visit. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials as specified in the City of Cadillac Section VII Sanitary Manhole Rehab specification to complete the manhole chimney and/or bench and invert work, of varied depths, to the nineteen (19) sanitary sewer manholes identified in this Invitation to Bid (ITB) document.
The Contractor shall comply with applicable specifications listed below. The Contractor shall note to supply necessary resources to remove existing debris from all manhole bottom areas prior to commencing work.
All work shall be performed in strict accordance with City, State, and MiOSHA standards for confined space entry procedures, and other safety regulations.
