RFP-MW-2017-17A - Dial-A-Ride Plus Service Provider

Summary of Specifications:
Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority (AAATA) is seeking Proposals from qualified firms to provide “Dial-A-Ride Plus” transportation service. The Dial-A-Ride Plus service is an inexpensive connection to fixed route bus service for people with limited transportation options who are beyond the fixed-route bus service area (curb-to-stop). 

Dial-A-Ride Plus is a new service and will be rolled out as a pilot program. The pilot program is expected to last one year and thereafter, if successful, on a year-to-year basis. 

The successful service provider will transport people to and from their homes or other points of origin which are outside the fixed-route bus service area to locations within the fixed-route bus service area where they can access buses.
