Specifications include, but are not limited to: To perform the Underground Facility Locating service for present and utilities including water, storm water, sanitary sewers and traffic signals and streetlights and Street Car electrical lines as prescribed by the Missouri Underground Utility Location and Damage Prevention Law (Section 319.015 – 319.050 RSMO) as amended. Kansas City Missouri owns and operates approximately 745 traffic signal installations including flashers and pedestrian crossings and underground interconnection between some of the installations, approximately 98,000 streetlights with approximately 50% of the streetlights being powered by underground wiring,, approximately 2200 miles of sanitary sewers, 600 miles of combined sewers and 2,800 miles of water mains and associated appurtances... The City of Kansas City, Missouri is interested in locating services for all the underground facilities, including fiber optics and copper interconnects. These installations are in the corporate boundary. This boundary includes portions of four (4 Missouri counties namely; Jackson, Clay, Cass and Platte County.
