Specifications include, but are not limited to: (CU 109400) SWITCHGEAR, PADMOUNT, ELBOW CONNECTED, 15KV CLASS, 95 KV-BIL, WITH ONE (1) 600 AMPERE THREE PHASE GROUP OPERATED SWITCHED MAIN AND THREE (3) 600 AMPERE TAPS WITH OVERCURRENT PROTECTION. THE SWITCHGEAR SHALL MEET THE APPLICABLE PORTIONS OF ANSI/IEEE 386, ANSI C57. 12.28 AND THE ANSI C37 SERIES RELATIVE TO PADMOUNT SWITCHGEAR REQUIREMENTS. ALL BUSHINGS SHALL BE 600 AMPERE NONLOADBREAK BUSHINGS FOR USE WITH NON-LOADBREAK INSULATED SEPARABLE CONNECTOR COMPONENTS. THE 600 AMPERE MAIN SHALL BE EQUIPPED WITH A SWITCH MECHANISM DESIGNED FOR THREE PHASE, GROUP OPERATED, LOADBREAK SWITCHING RATED FOR 600 AMPERE LOADBREAK SWITCHING AND 12,000 AMPERE SYMMETRICAL DUTY-CYCLE FAULT-CLOSING. THE SWITCH'S OPERATING HANDLE SHALL BE DESIGNED TO BE OPERATED WITH INSULATED OPERATING STICKS AND TWO (2) MEANS OF SWITCH POSITION INDICATION SHALL BE DESIGNED INTO THE OPERATING MECHANISM. THE SWITCHGEAR SHALL UTILIZE EITHER AIR OR OIL AS THE INSULATING AND COOLING MEDIUM. IN THE CASE OF OIL INSULATION AND COOLING, THE SWITCHGEAR SHALL BE OF A SEALED TANK DESIGN AND SHALL BE FURNISHED WITH MEANS FOR SAMPLING, FILLING AND INSPECTING THE OIL LEVEL OF THE SWITCHGEAR. OIL FILLED SWITCHGEAR SHALL ALSO BE FURNISHED WITH A PRESSURE RELIEF DEVICE OR DEVICES IN ACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE ANSI STANDARDS. TESTS SHALL BE PERFORMED AND CERTIFIED TEST REPORTS SUBMITTED GUARANTYING THAT OIL SUPPLIED WITH EACH SWITCHGEAR MEETS ALL APPLICABLE ANSI STANDARDS. OIL FILLED SWITCHGEAR SHALL NOT UTILIZE OIL AS THE INTERRUPTING MEDIUM TO MEET ANY OF THE REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH HERE. PROVISIONS FOR MOUNTING THE INDICATING MECHANISM OF FAULTED CIRCUIT INDICATORS SHALL BE PROVIDED IN THE SILL OF THE EQUIPMENT ENCLOSURE AND SHALL BE ALIGNED WITH THE CENTER-LINE OF THE CENTER PHASE CONDUCTOR BUSHING OF EACH SEPARATE COMPARTMENT WITHIN THE ENCLOSURE. THESE PROVISIONS SHALL READILY ACCEPT THE MOUNTING OF A CHANCE 3CR3 STYLE INDICATING MECHANISM AND INCLUDE HOLES FOR MOUNTING THIS DEVICE. COVER PLATES SHALL BE INCLUDED AND IN PLACE FOR SHIPMENT AND STORAGE OF THE SWITCHGEAR.
