Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Installation of all OWNER furnished equipment and materials as indicated in the attached equipment list. (Exhibit B) 2. Installation of all copper, fiber optic and specialty patch cords and interconnect cables as indicated on the equipment list and patching documentation. (Exhibit B) 3. Exhibit C Spreadsheet listing fiber optic and copper (CAT6A) patching is not currently included in this document and will be issued at the pre-bid meeting. 4. Exhibit D Spreadsheet listing equipment power connections to rack mounted PDU’s is not currently included in this document and will be issued at the pre-bid meeting. 5. Labeling of all network equipment, patch cables and power cords. Cable labels shall be made using a DYMO Rhino 5200 label printer, equal Panduit or Brandy label makers are acceptable, font and size of labels shall match existing cable labels. For all fiber optic patch cords a Panduit or equal flag tie type tag shall be provided at both ends of the patch cord for attachment of the cable label. 6. Adjustment of data rack rails to provide adequate clearance between front door and equipment, SCC IS will provide rail set back information prior to equipment installation. 7. Neatly arranging all power cords and patch cords within racks to allow proper airflow within data racks. All cables and cords shall be properly supported and neatly dressed to provide a workman like appearance. 8. Provide and install all necessary consumables, including but not limited to; a. Cable labels b. Flag type tie tag for all fiber optic jumpers c. Tie wraps or equal for dressing and supporting of power cords d. Velcro type strips for bundling and supporting of fiber optic, copper and specialty interconnect cables. 9. Document all patching and power connections to reflect final as-built conditions on SCC furnished spreadsheets 10.Meet with SCC IS team prior to start of equipment installation to review rack elevations, power and interconnect requirements. 11.Coordinate with SCC IS team to understand which racks and equipment is to be installed and in what order to allow network configuration to begin as early as possible. 12.Coordinate with SCC IS team to insure all equipment and interconnect cabling is properly labeled and documented. 13.CONTRACTOR’s on-site team shall report to the designated SCC IS team leader at the start and completion of each day for a brief discussion of the daily tasks as well as what tasks have been completed or are in process. 14.CONTRACTOR shall dispose of all boxes and packing materials associated with SCC furnished equipment and materials. 15.CONTRACTOR to maintain all paperwork included in SCC furnished equipment and turnover all paperwork to SCC representative.
