Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall provide services at a facility with a physically and emotionally safe environment easily accessible by individuals with OUDs. a. The contractor shall provide a physical location in the community that is readily accessible to those seeking and maintaining recovery from OUDs. b. The contractor’s facility shall be in a prominent, visible location, whose sole purpose is to promote recovery. c. The contractor’s facility shall be physically separate and distinct from clinical treatment and/or recovery housing. d. The contractor’s facility should be easily accessible by consumers utilizing public transportation. The contractor’s facility must be Americans with Disabilities Act accessible and include: a. Adequate and comfortable furnishings; b. Adequate restroom facilities; c. Private space where confidential information can be exchanged; d. Separate meeting/training room with a minimum capacity of 50; e. Area for preparation of and serving coffee and snacks; f. Free local telephone access; and g. A computer with internet access for participant use.
