The Kansas City Public Schools has a parent education home visiting program known as "Parents as Teachers" (the Program) wherein parent educators provide home visits and developmental screenings for eligible children. These services are provided in an effort to increase parenting knowledge of early childhood development, provide early detection of developmental delays and health issues, prevent child abuse and neglect, and increase school readiness. KCPS wishes to have an Independent Contractor support delivery of this program. The Independent Contractor agrees to provide the following: . Deliver the Program inclusive of home visits developmental screenings for eligible children Richardson Early Learning Community School located at 3515 Park and Woodland Early Learning Community School located at 711 Woodland Ave. Enter screenings and home visits into VisitTracker in order to qualify for State reimbursement. Screenings must be entered within the first 90 days of the first visit. Focus recruitment efforts and provide approved services within the KCPS service target area and other locations as needed and approved. Comply with the standards set forth in the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education's Early Childhood Development Act Administration Manual and the Parents as Teachers National Center's Quality Assurance Guidelines.
