Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.11/9/2019; MoDOT will select organizations based on the approved SOW award funding through a competitive bid process (RFP) to provide OJT SS services. 2.Select individuals to participate in the OJT SS program including recruitment and registration (on-going) of participants. 3.Participants enrolled in the program will be given an educational experience to enhance work maturity skills, life skills, career exploration and development. Former students will also be served, trained, and placed with heavy highway contractors. 4.OJT SS students attend community fairs and other local events. 5.Identify students lacking high school diploma or HSE. Administer basic skills assessment to determine HSE preparation goals, including practice test and HSE Exam. 6.Provide job readiness training (JRT). 7.Provide training in safe and accurate use of hand/power tools, construction tools, and blue print reading and demonstrate usage of hand/power tools.
