Specifications include, but are not limited to: During the course of the year the District has projects that it considers metal fabrication. This term includes a wide range of work, such as, but not limited to, building “dumping bins” and related conveying equipment, fabrication of various equipment parts, sheet metal fabrication, rebuild of valves, rebuild of wear rings, and rebuild of main pumps. The contractor will be expected to assist the District in solving metal problems in a caustic environment to help reduce long term operating cost. It is the District’s intention to obtain professionally created dimensional drawings on future projects including the material type of fabricated parts associated with said drawings. The contractor shall provide shop drawings as requested and these shop drawings shall include material specifications.
