Specifications include, but are not limited to: Visit with twenty (20) local employers, identified through Mosaic, to determine their STEM talent gaps and profitability opportunity through filling STEM openings; Establish a working relationship with the Regional Chamber, Regional Business Council, “Mosaic Ambassador” companies, and other hiring organizations to present international STEM students as career candidates; Coordinate with local immigration attorneys, upon referral from Mosaic, to connect students and employers who need legal services as part of their process to recruit and hire international candidates, including assisting Mosaic with an immigration hiring workshop to be held fall 2018; Provide two (2) presentations to local international students to identify the STEM hiring opportunities in the St. Louis metro area as well as the degrees, technical skills and soft skills required; and Track the number of positions at local employers for which international STEM students could apply, how many do apply and how many begin the OPT-STEM process toward employment.
