Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Missouri (hereinafter referred to as “state”) desires to update, streamline, and simplify its standard Information Technology (IT) contract terms to align with the IT vendor community’s business parameters in such a manner that reasonably minimizes liability risk to the vendor community while providing responsible protection for the state and the taxpaying citizens of Missouri in the parties’ performance under state IT contracts. Through this Request for Information (RFI), the state is requesting the assistance of the IT vendor community with transformation of the state’s standard IT contract terms. Specifically, vendors are requested to constructively assess the state’s current standard IT contract terms used for the procurement of IT products and services and provide written feedback that will enable the state to achieve its goal outlined below. The feedback received will be an instrumental consideration as the state works to update, streamline, and simplify its standard IT contract terms.
