Specifications include, but are not limited to: a) Provide a turn-key hydrogen peroxide odor control system for the removal of hydrogen sulfide from the bio solids dewatering process at the Lower Meramec Treatment Plant, 7849 Fine Road, St. Louis 63129. a) Bio solids are pumped from the thickened sludge pumps to two belt filter presses. There is a dedicated sludge line to each belt filter press. One or both belt filter presses can be in operation with each press receiving 40-100 gallons per minute of sludge from the thickened sludge pumps. Belt press operation normally occurs 8-10 hours per day seven days per week. b) Atmospheric hydrogen sulfide levels have ranged from 10-20 ppm at the belts of the belt filter press. The goal of the odor control system is to maintain a level less than 2 ppm and never exceed 5 ppm at any location in the dewatering building. Failure to control hydrogen sulfide to these levels would be cause to terminate the service contract. Vendor would be responsible for removal of all of the vendor’s equipment at no cost to the District. c) The turn-key odor control system must include chemical storage tank(s), chemical feed pumps(s), chemical dosage control system, preventative and corrective maintenance on the existing pipes and equipment. d) It is desirable that the system be operational within eight weeks of purchase order
