Specifications include, but are not limited to: Pleated Filters Reference Camfil Farr 30/30 or equivalent. 3.1.1 The contractor shall provide all items specified herein to the District. The District anticipates most filters to be changed two times a year. In some instances there filters may be purchased on an as needed basis. The contractor must comply with all mandatory requirements and specifications presented herein pertaining to provision of all items stated herein. 3.1.2 Air filters shall be medium efficiency ASHRAE pleated panels 3.1.3 Filters shall be a cotton and synthetic blend and formed into a radial pleat with a welded wire grid. The frame shall be bonded to the medium on all sides. 3.1.4 The filters shall meet the guidelines of ASHRAE standard 52.2. 3.1.5 The filters shall have a minimum efficient reporting value of MERV 8. 3.1.6 The filters shall have an Energy Cost Index (ECI) value of five stars. 3.1.7 Initial resistance to airflow shall not exceed 0.23”, 0.31”, or 0.24” w.g. at any airflow of 350, 500 or 500 fpm on 1”, 2” or 4” deep models respectively.
