Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor shall furnish all equipment necessary to electronically monitor offenders as ordered by the court. The contractor must provide electronic monitoring equipment that includes a smartphone application technology feature and a transmitter, battery, receiver, and all other necessary equipment to function properly. The contractor must provide equipment capable of transmitting signals via cellular and non-cellular. Cellular devices shall rely on cellular technology to transmit the electronic monitoring device’s monitoring information via cellular signal to the contractor’s host computers, and thus produce monitoring information for the county and/or judicial court. Non-cellular devices shall rely on a telephone landline installed at the home, which is connected to a component of the person’s monitoring equipment. The landline shall be used to transmit the electronic monitoring device’s monitoring information to the contractor’s host computers, and thus produce monitoring information for the county and/or judicial court.
