Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Provide legal advice to the City Council and staff with regard to construction and design-related issues, as requested; b. Conduct periodic reviews of construction and professional services agreements, as requested by City staff, and provide recommendations with regard to any revisions deemed advisable; c. Negotiate the terms and conditions of construction and professional services agreements, as requested by City staff; d. Advise the City with regard to all potential litigation, whether it is likely to be initiated by the contractor or professional against the City, or initiated by the City against the contractor or professional by: i. Drafting, analyzing, and reviewing pleadings, as necessary; ii. Appearing at hearings, as necessary;
