Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. The mail shall be received or pick-up from the US Post Office at least two (2) times per business day. The respondent shall obtain a mailing address to receive all postal mail from the Department clients for the programs listed in section 1.1.1. b. The respondent shall open, date stamp, sort, scan, and index all mail into the agency’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) system. c. The respondent shall screen in both MEDES and FAMIS for existing active cases prior to registering any applications. d. The respondent shall complete a thorough search of the Common Client Area to determine whether household members have an existing Departmental Client Numbers (DCN) prior to registering applications. ; The respondent shall register applications received by postal mail or fax in either FAMIS or MEDES
