The BI program provides one-on-one direct individualized supervision and support to the victims of child abuse, within their foster, relative, or kinship homes. BI program services include but are not limited to services that: a. Assist the child with overcoming their victimization by achieving stability in their homes/families, dramatically improving their ability to regulate their emotions when triggered, and growing their ability to attach to and nurture from their caregiving parents (adults) in order to preserve or obtain permanency; b. Reduce the psychological trauma experienced by child abuse victims and reduce ongoing aftereffects of trauma experienced by the harm and victimization which resulted in them coming into the out of home care;
