Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Assessing the needs of the child and developing a child specific behavioral objective plan to address them; 2) Offering crisis intervention, both in person on a daily basis, and over the phone, by trained staff to the parent/caregiver; 3) Providing any necessary referral for psychological testing, psychiatry services, and therapy, and coordinate treatment planning with the child's treating therapist; 4) Navigating the child welfare, mental health, and educational systems to work toward the best services to increase the child's ability to remain stable and function in his/her own home and community; 5) Providing training to parents, BIs and other service providers on the child and his/her special needs; and 6) Providing regular ongoing case consultation to the parent, BI, treating therapist, etc. in order to coordinate the implementation of this intensive intervention.
