Submission of periodic statements and series of collection letters on patient balances if necessary; c. Complete breakdown of insurance benefits, entered into our software system and linked to the proper group/employer and fee schedule; d. Re-verification of benefits; e. Complete dental treatment plan entered into our software program, with calculation of patient co-payments to be collected at the time of service by our internal staff; f. Emergency verifications and re-verifications within an hour window. 2) Handling the entire insurance component of a dental practice a. Daily submission of claims with required attachments & narratives; b. Claim corrections and re-submissions; c. Dental/medical cross coding billing when necessary; d. Management of insurance aging A/R; e. Insurance payment posting daily; f. EFT retrieval and daily posting; g. Management of EOBs (Explanation of Benefits); h. Un-submitted procedures and claim reports.
