Specifications include, but are not limited to: Size – The contractor shall provide at minimum two different sized warrant stocks: Warrant Size #1 shall be seventeen inches wide by three and a half inches deep (17" W x 3 1/2" D). The useable size of the warrants shall be sixteen inches wide by three and a half inches deep (16" W x 3 1/2" D). Warrant Size #2 shall be nine inches wide by seven inches deep (9" W x 7" D). The useable size of the warrants shall be eight inches wide by seven inches deep (8" W x 7" D). Rolled Paper Stock – The contractor shall print the warrants on a continuous twenty-four pound (24lb.) white MICR bond roll stock with a minimum brightness of eighty (80). Groundwood content shall not be acceptable. All aspects of the paper (paper quality, perforations, pin-feed holes, etc.) must be compatible with an InfoPrint 4000 or 4100 laser printer as well as Wallace Lasermax Model 52 Unwinders/Accumulator 132/ Job Separator 122 or LX 560 cutters. The contractor shall ensure that the rolls have a six inch (6") core. Unless specifically approved by the state agency on an individual basis, the rolls must have a diameter of forty inches (40"). The width of the roll for Warrant Size #1 shall be seventeen inches (17"). The width of the roll for Warrant Size #2 shall be nine inches (9"). In addition, the rolls shall be so that the warrants will be on the outward (visible) side of the paper when on the rolls. The top of the warrant must come off the roll first. The contractor shall ensure that the paper rolls must either (1) have plain white paper one half inch (1/2") to one inch (1") from the core, or (2) have inventory numbers that continue with no duplicates to the core. If the rolls have plain white paper one half inch (1/2") to one inch (1") from the core, the plain white paper must be flagged at its start. The contractor shall ensure that the date of manufacture and any other relevant information the contractor deems necessary for proper identification is printed on the core of each roll for purposes of tracking quality.
