Specifications include, but are not limited to: Biology Courses in Physiology (e.g., BISC330) use PowerLab hardware to collect physiological data within lab sections. These instruments are used throughout the course. The Department has 18 of these instruments that we are currently using. The software used for these instruments is no longer supported and is obsolete. This project is to purchase the updated software packages for our 18 PowerLab instruments. This software is a laboratory-based education product, specifically designed to be used with PowerLab data collection hardware. It permits our instructors to design our own experiments for use in physiology labs and gives us access to a large online library of lessons ready to go. We require software that will run the PowerLab data collection hardware. AD Instruments is the sole source for software that runs the PowerLab Instruments.
