Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Neshoba County Board of Supervisors is accepting proposals for the award of a contract for acquisition of 31,000 square feet of heavy duty portable flooring for use at the Neshoba County Coliseum. The Neshoba County Coliseum has a dirt floor arena for mixed use events at the facility including rodeos, monster truck shows, arena cross, and FFA and 4-H cow and other types of animal shows. The venue also has approximately 30,000 square feet of Port-a-Floor portable flooring, which is placed over the packed dirt surface to provide for additional events including concerts, graduation ceremonies, banquets and other events in which the dirt floor is not a suitable surface. Based on the type of event, the portable flooring may be installed or removed to accommodate the needs of the lease of the facility.
